The tipping link is a hinged four-bar mechanism with a crank and a rocker called a crank rocker mechanism. Usually, the crank is an active part and rotates at constant speed, while the rocker is a driven part for variable speed swing, and the tipping link is a plane compound movement. The crank and rocker mechanism is also used as an active member, and the reciprocating swing of the rocker is converted into the rotation of the crank.
